1.3.6. Antistrange system (DSC)

The antistrange system (CCD) automatically operates braking of wheels and regulates the torque developed by the engine together with anti-blocking and protivobuksovochny systems that excludes side sliding and a drift of the car at the movement on a slippery paving or at sharp and vigorous maneuvering. The antistrange system increases safety of the car.
The antistrange system functions at a speed of car higher than 20 km/h.

ATTENTION
The antistrange system can incorrectly function if the conditions given below are not met.
– On all wheels of the car identical tires of the recommended dimension have to be installed.
– On all wheels tires of one brand, model, dimension and with the identical drawing of a protector, made at one plant have to be installed.
– It is forbidden to install on the tire car with various degree of wear of a protector.
The antistrange system can incorrectly work if on wheels chains of antisliding are established or one of wheels is replaced with a small-sized spare wheel. Distinction of radiuses of swing of wheels is a cause of infringement of normal functioning of antistrange system.

After turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) because of the dashboard the clicking sound can be distributed. It accompanies self-diagnostics of antistrange system and does not confirm any malfunction.

Indicator operation/signalling device of malfunction of protivobuksovochny and antistrange systems.
The indicator lights up for several seconds after turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included). The signaling device blinks at operation of protivobuksovochny or antistrange system.
If the signaling device continues to burn, – it can demonstrate violation of normal functioning of the PBS and CCD systems. Address on the service station of the official dealer of Mazda for check of the car.

Indicator of shutdown of antistrange system.
The indicator lights up for several seconds after turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included). The indicator also lights up when pressing the DSC OFF switch and warns the driver that protivobuksovochny and antistrange system are disconnected.

To disconnect protivobuksovochny and antistrange systems, press and hold the DSC OFF switch, the DSC OFF indicator will not light up yet.
Again to include the PBS/PZS systems, press the switch once again. At the same time the DSC OFF indicator will go out.
If the CCD system is not disconnected, then in attempts to remove the got stuck car the protivobuksovochny system will work. When pressing an accelerator pedal the torque developed by the engine will not increase.
In similar cases disconnect the PBS/PZS systems.
The PBS/PZS systems which are disconnected at the idle engine joins automatically at inclusion of ignition. For stability of the movement of the car protivobuksovochny and antistrange systems have to be included.
