On the car the usual scheme of gear shifting, as shown in the drawing (for 5 and 6-staged transmissions) is used (fig. 1.152).
At gear shifting completely press a coupling pedal. After transfer inclusion smoothly release a coupling pedal.
On the car with the 5-staged transmission the safety device excludes casual inclusion of transfer of a backing of "R" from the situation "5" corresponding to the fifth transfer. to include a broadcast of a backing "R", it is necessary to transfer the lever to neutral situation.
Cars with the 6-staged transmission are equipped with the device preventing wrong inclusion of transfer of a backing. Press the gear shifting lever vertically down and then transfer it to situation "R".

ATTENTION
You do not hold constantly a leg on a coupling pedal. Press a coupling pedal only at gear shifting. It is forbidden to hold the car from rolling down on rise due to coupling slipping. Long or intensive slipping of coupling will result in premature wear of details and an exit of coupling out of operation. Make sure that the car is not mobile before including transfer of a backing. Inclusion of transfer of a backing during the movement of the car can lead to breakage of the transmission.

NOTE
If transfer of a backing joins hardly, return the gear shifting lever to neutral situation and release a coupling pedal. Then try to include transfer of a backing once again.
