7.3.1.7. Work at the movement of the car

1. At the movement with the included headlights the control unit of automatic alignment (main) receives on an entrance a car speed signal from the block of the ABS/TCS HU/CM or DSC HU/CM system and the signal based on fluctuations of a suspension bracket from forward and back sensors of automatic alignment.
2. On the basis of a car speed signal the control unit of automatic alignment calculates the angle of acceleration and checks change of speed of the car. Besides, if there is a difference between two signals of forward and back sensors of automatic alignment, the control unit of automatic alignment (main) checks actual position of the car. The same block calculates the size of adjustment of an optical axis on the basis of these two signals and gives a signal on the control unit of automatic alignment (additional).
3. The control unit of automatic alignment compares the actual and standard position of a reflector, and then brings a signal of management to the executive mechanism of alignment of a headlight.

NOTE
When the ignition key is transferred to position of ON, within several seconds it is possible to hear a sound of operation of the executive mechanism of alignment of headlights, it is normal as there is a check of the operational mode of system.

At movement along the bad or uneven road function of automatic alignment would cause effect of blinking, leading to dazzle of drivers of oncoming cars. For prevention of it automatic alignments of headlights happens to delay.
