1.1.6.4. Maintenance of the wearable card "Advanced Key"

Check that the battery was correctly focused by the electric poles concerning the card case. At the wrong installation of a battery it is possible to flow electrolyte. When replacing a battery be careful not to bend electric contacts, and also preserve electric contacts against pollution by oil. You watch that dirt did not get to the case of the remote control. It can put the panel out of action. If replacement is made incorrectly, there is a danger of explosion of a battery. When replacing use only batteries of the same type (CR2025 or completely equivalent elements). At utilization of the served batteries follow the following rules:

– isolate positive and negative poles of a battery by means of cellophane or an insulating tape;

– do not sort batteries;

– do not throw batteries into fire or into water;

– do not deform and do not break batteries.

ATTENTION Point the following signs to the discharged condition of a battery: – at the idle engine the signaling device of "KEY" (green color) located on the dashboard blinks; – the system does not work, when pressing buttons of management the indicator which is built in the card does not light up; – reduction of range of operation of the wearable card.

In order to avoid failure of the wearable card "Advanced Key" replace a battery only at the service station of the official dealer of Mazda. At independent replacement of a battery make the following actions:

1. Take out an auxiliary key from the card;

2. By means of the flat screw-driver release a battery cover, then turn and remove its (fig. 1.16);

ATTENTION Do not turn a cover on too big corner, it can lead to its damage.

3. Insert a tip of the flat screw-driver into a cut and take out a battery;

4. Insert a new battery (the CR2025 type or completely to it equivalent), so that the positive pole of an element (+) settled down on the same party, as marking (+), put on a cover;

5. Turn and close a cover.

In case of loss or plunder of the wearable card immediately address on the service station of the official dealer of Mazda for replacement and blocking of operation of the lost or stolen card. At the same time it is necessary to capture with itself all wearable cards "Advanced Key" which remained with you.
