8.5. Conditioner and heater

The Mazda 3 cars are equipped with the computer-controlled air conditioning system. In air conditioning system the full-line aluminum radiator of a heater with rectilinear circulation is used. Efficiency of heat exchange is increased due to use of the additional evaporator.

Fig. 8.60. Conditioner and heater of the Mazda 3 car: 1 – block of the air conditioning system; 2 – air filter; 3 – main draft of the mode of an intake of air; 4 – back air duct; 5 – compressor of the air conditioning system; 6 – condenser; 7 – heater radiator hose; 8 – line of coolant

The electronic control unit of the conditioner has self-diagnostics function. Failure in system registers in memory of a diagnostic code of malfunction, at the same time the indicator of the switch of the conditioner works in the flashing mode.
