7.4.4. Check of the electric motor of a screen wiper of a windshield

Disconnect the socket of the electric motor of screenwash.

Give tension from a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery to a conclusion of E or D; connect a conclusion of B to the mass of a body, check operation of the electric motor of screenwash, as shown in the table.

Disconnect a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery from a conclusion E electric motors at the working screen wipers.

Make sure that screen wipers do not stop in a starting position.

Connect conclusions of A and the D electric motor and connect a conclusion of C to a positive conclusion of the rechargeable battery.

Make sure that screen wipers work at small speed again, then stop in a starting position (fig. 7.56).

If it not so, replace the windshield screen wiper electric motor.
